Two nabbed for killing businessman

According to a police officer, the two accused revealed the names of their associates in the crime, Rajesh and Ravi Dedha, residents of Kaithal and Ghaziabad, who are still absconding.

The North West district police have arrested two people involved in a robbery and murder case of a businessman from Ashoka Park area of Bharat Nagar.

According to police, the accused, identified as Sanjay, 24 and Dalip Singh, 31, residents of Azadpur and Shakti Nagar respectively, were arrested along with two others who robbed and murdered Sanjeev Gajwani, 42, a merchant of threads of hosiery at Shastri Nagar, last month outside his house.

"According to eyewitnesses, of the two bikes used in the crime, one was a white colour Yamaha R15. Details of the bike were obtained from the Transport Authority office after which we managed to trace the location and arrest the duo," said Milind Dumbere, Deputy Commissioner Of Police, North West district.

It was revealed that since Dalip used to work in Shastri Nagar he was aware that Gajwani used to carry heavy cash on weekends. The accused revealed that on August 22, they chased the businessman from his workplace, snatched his bag and fired at the Gajwani's throat when he tried to chase them.
