Twin molestations in 24 hours shock Delhi, 2 accused arrested

Two persons were arrested in south Delhi in connection with separate cases of molestation of minors over the last 24 hours.

In the first case, a three-year-old girl was lured by a 35-year-old man in south-east Delhi's Sarita Vihar on Thursday afternoon. The man, Ganori Prasad, was trying to force himself on the girl, but he couldn't as her aunt heard her crying. Prasad was promptly nabbed and handed over to the police.

In the second incident, a 14-year-old girl was molested by her tenant who entered her house asking for water. The man groped the girl who then freed herself and rushed to the other room. When he followed her and tried to hug her, she ran out of the house. The girl later informed her mother, who was not at home when the incident happened. She immediately nabbed the man handed him over to police.

Two girls, aged three and 14 almost escaped the clutches of molesters on Thursday. The accused in both cases have been charged under IPC sections and POCSO Act
