Revolting Delhi bureaucrats sought on Monday police action against CM Arvind Kejriwal and his deputy Manish Sisodia for last week's assault on Chief Secretary Anshu by two MLAs.

The two leaders were in denial that shows that they were part of the conspiracy, the Joint Forum of Delhi Government Employees said, while rejecting mediation by Minister Rajendar Pal Gautam.

The forum held a meeting and resolved that Kejriwal and Sisodia must tender both written and public apology.

"Because the CM and the deputy CM are identified in the FIR, we appeal to the L-G and the Commissioner of Police to take action as per law against them," the resolution said.

Gautam was handpicked to placate officials who have refused to meet ministers and are only having written communication with them.
