Just three days ahead of the Republic Day, Noida Police’s cyber cell received a complaint from businessman who got an SMS, which read, “Bin Laden is our God, Join Terrorism — Jihad”. Just hours after this, a car selling and buying website was also allegedly hacked by a Pakistani. The website displayed “Pakistan Zindabad” on it. The cases have been transferred to the district’s cyber cell and Intelligence Bureau has also been roped in.

According to the police, on Monday afternoon they received a complaint at the Sector 24 police sin which the complainant, a business by profession stated that he has been getting messages on his phone. “In his complaint, he has mentioned that he has been getting messages like “Bin Laden is our God, Join hands with Terrorism” and “Jihad” from a very long time to which he kept ignoring. But now, he is worried as he has called on the number a lot of time, however, no one is responding on the number,” said Arun Kumar Singh, Superintendent Of Police (City) Gautam Budh Nagar.

In another incident, a car selling and buying website , “http://www.easybuycar.com”, has been hacked for which a complaint filed in Phase III police station.

“In the complaint, the owner of the website stated that our website was hacked and it displayed “Pakistan Zindabad” on it. They suspect some terror group of hacking their website,” said Rajeev Kumar, Circle Officer-2 (City), Gautam Budh Nagar.

The Police said the cases have been transferred to the district’s cyber cell and Intelligence Bureau to find out the source and server.  According to experts, in this form of hacking the hackers hack the DNS server and re-redirect the traffic to the account having malicious content, instead of hacking the server hosting the authentic website.
