The students union of JNU will be beginning their three-day protest at Jantar Mantar on Sunday.

Recent cases of mob lynching incidents in India have triggered a debate in the country. In this regard, the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) held a meeting of various student bodies and other socially active citizens to arrange a united protest against the incidents.
The students union of JNU will be beginning their three-day protest at Jantar Mantar on Sunday. The student union has urged students studying all across the country to spread the message against mob lynching through various peaceful means.
"JNUSU held a meeting with all student bodies and progressive citizens and decided to hold a united protest against mob lynching incidents." Satarupa Chakraborty, JNUSU general secretary, said.
The student union of JNU has invited every student in Delhi to decide the future course of the protest. "Since the BJP came into power in 2014, there have been series of attacks on marginalised groups. It must be stopped immediately and JNUSU appeals to one and all to extend support and take part in the meeting at11 am on Sunday to chart out the future course of action," said a JNUSU member.
