Hotel manager held for molesting German man in Ghaziabad

According to the police, the accused has been identified as Pawan Joshi, who worked as the sales manager in Radisson Blu hotel.

A 30-year-old sales manager of a five-star hotel located in the Kaushambi area of Ghaziabad has been arrested for allegedly molesting a 55-year-old German man, on Thursday morning.

According to the police, the accused has been identified as Pawan Joshi, who worked as the sales manager in Radisson Blu hotel. He had allegedly molested the German national by touching his private part on Wednesday.

"The man has been booked under section 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt) and 294 (obscene acts and songs) for touching the victim inappropriately inside the hotel room," said Akash Tomar, Superintendent Of Police (city).

On Wednesday the German, in his complaint said that the accused approached him in the room on the evening of May 1 and tried to touch his private parts.

"I was getting ready for the gym when Joshi knocked at my door. I asked him to get in. After a brief conversation as I was getting ready to go to the gym, he moved forward and touched my body. Then he touched my private parts and when I asked him to leave, he laughed and insisted on staying longer," read the complainant.

Later, the accused again touched the victim's abdomen and my private parts after which he made a call to the reception and complained about the incident.

"The German national was staying in the hotel for the past many days and the incident took place when he was about to leave. He had already informed the hotel staff via email that he would be leaving for Munich on May 4 and the accused had come to his room for the some information and started touching him," said a senior police official.
