A dreaded gangster and the last member of the infamous Chhenu gang has been arrested by the Delhi Police. The accused Shahbaz Qureshi, who is involved in two murder cases, would constantly upload videos on social media sites, including Facebook 'challenging' the Delhi Police.

Qureshi alias Shabbu (21), is a gang member of Chhenu gang and the prime accused in two murder cases, where he shot two members of the rival gang, namely Wajid and Arif Hussain. Shabbu was hired by Irfan alias Chhenu to wipe out his rival gang. He also carried a cash reward of Rs 20,000 on his arrest.

Shabbu was on a run after he allegedly shot down both the rivals but he was arrested on Thursday after being nabbed by North-East district police from Yamuna Vihar, DTC bus depot after a secret information was received about his whereabouts. The accused had previously challenged the Delhi Police to arrest him.

However, during the run, Shabbu was constantly using social networking to communicate with his family and associates. The accused even used Facebook to express his love, when he posted a video on his Facebook account for his girlfriend on Valentine's Day this year. With Shabbu's arrest, all the gang members of the Chhenu gang now stand behind bars. The police have recovered one pistol along with four live cartridges from his possession.
