The dust storm that lashed the Capital on late Friday evening made the heat bearable on Saturday as the temperature dipped below the 40 degree mark. The dusty winds blew at a speed of 40km/hr, according to the Safdarjung Observatory.

The city recorded a maximum temperature of 38.3 degrees Celsius on Saturday. The meteorological department had also predicted another round of dust or thunderstorm on Saturday evening.

The clime also observed less humidity level, and while sky remained largely clear, the heat was not as unbearable as it was for the last two weeks when the mercury soared to 46 degrees Celsius.

The Safdarjung Observatory recorded 38.3 degrees Celsius as maximum temperature, which was two degrees below normal.

The Palam Observatory, meanwhile, touched 39.4 degrees Celsius, and the minimum was 25.4 degrees Celsius. Both two points below normal.

The weatherman has predicted dust or thunderstorm in the coming days, indicating some more relief from the relentless heat condition in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR).
