Delhi: Six-month-old child united with his parents after missing for 2 months

The Delhi police united a six-month-old child with his family after two months. For more than two months, the parents were running pillar to post to find their child.

According to the information, Pooja lives on the footpath outside the Bangla Saheb Gurudwara while her husband works as a daily wage worker. One month ago, a 19-year-old girl namely Sapna approached them and started feeding the child, Aman. After getting the opportunity, she escaped
with their child.

The victim parents searched for their child and the girl but they were nowhere to be found. In agony they ultimately approached the police as last resort.

The New Delhi district police started looking for the child together with the parents, in the meantime, Pooja came to know that the accused girl is living in disguise near Palika Bazar Delhi.

The accused girl Sapna was nabbed and was handed over to the police. During interrogation she first tried to mislead the cops. However she later broke down and disclosed the exact location of the child who safely rescued from Firozpur Punjab.

She further disclosed that, as she was childless, so she took the child and handed him over to a man namely Ajit Singh at Golden Temple in Amritsar and said Singh that, this is her child and she will take him back after coming from Delhi.

On Sapna’s instance Ajit Singh was also arrested and the child was safely reunited with the family.
