Fear of arrest looms large over 'Bigg Boss' contestant Swami Om after a Delhi court, on Monday, dismissed his anticipatory bail plea considering his "past record" and the "grave" allegations against him in the case of molesting and threatening a woman.

Special Judge Sanjeev Aggarwal observed that the anticipatory bail cannot be provided as Om might intimidate witnesses or hamper investigation.

"Considering the grave and serious allegations against the present accused and considering his (Om's) past involvement and the fact that there are chances of intimidation of witnesses as well hampering of investigation by him, no ground for anticipatory bail is made out at this stage," the judge said.

According to an FIR registered at the IP Estate police station, a woman has accused Om and Swami Santosh Anand of hurling abuses at her and committing objectionable acts. She has also alleged that on February 7, after dragging her into a room, Om ripped off her clothes and attempted to rape her.

Meanwhile, the Investigation Officer (IO) filed the Call Detail Records (CDR) of the accused, which showed that he was present at the Rajghat Depot at the time of the incident.

Om's counsel argued that his client was falsely implicated by the applicant and that he was at the office of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Daryaganj, when the alleged incident took place.

Earlier on March 14, the court had given interim relief to Om after the Delhi Police failed to produce the footage of CCTV cameras installed outside the office of DCP, Daryaganj. The court had given six days to the Delhi Police to submit the CCTV footage but the IO could not produce it, claiming that the footage was automatically deleted and could not be retrieved. Also, the anticipatory bail of co-accused Anand was dismissed on February 17.
