After Vipassana, CM takes stock of projects

Back from a 10-day Vipassana break, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday reviewed major flagship projects being worked upon in the city. The CM also reviewed the status of Mohalla Clinics, the safety of children in schools and development in unauthorised schools.

Kejriwal had returned to Delhi on Tuesday night and in a Cabinet meeting, the progress of these projects was discussed department-wise.

"The CM reviewed the progress for setting-up Mohalla Clinics in government schools and has asked the department to finalise its proposal at the earliest. He also asked the officials to fast track the next phase of the clinics," an official said.

The CM also asked the health department to take note of complaints and shortcomings in these clinics and to resolve these by the end of the month.
