20-year-old man shot dead in Brahmpuri

A 20-year old man was allegedly shot dead by two persons in North-East Delhi's Brahmpuri area on Wednesday morning. The victim identified as Akash, was shot dead while he was partying with his friends at his uncle's office. No arrests were made until Wednesday night. Akash works in a mobile repair shop in the area

According to the police they received a call from a government hospital around 4 am regarding a man declared dead on arrival with bullet wounds. Akash was partying along with four of his friends at his uncle's officer.

"During the party he went out for some work and later his friends heard the gun shots and rushed out. They saw him lying in a pool of blood," said a senior police officer.

Investigating officers revealed that the crime must have taken place around 2:30 am. As per the CCTV footages two men can be seen running from the scene of crime after killing him.

The police registered a case of murder at New Usmanpur police station.
