Yuvraj Singh who is known for his six sixes was out of form a long period of time. However, since being selected for Mumbai Indians, the hitter has been giving a glimpse of his extraordinary batting skills.
Recently during a friendly encounter between Air India and Maldives at the Ekuveni sports grounds in Male, the veteran batsman impressed his fans by pulling off a stunning reverse sweep shot that went on to clear the fence.

Yuvraj who was part of the Air India team also proved to be the only crowd puller in the India-Maldives Friendship cricket series.
The event was organised jointly by the Maldives sports ministry, the Indian embassy, and the Maldives Cricket Board. The Maldivian team included Maldives president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and vice-president Faisal Naseem, in a friendly series.

“I am very pleased that cricket was chosen to strengthen the friendship between the two countries,” Yuvraj Singh was quoted as saying by the Maldives media at the Velana International Airport.
The 37-year-old was bought for Rs 1 crore by the Mumbai Indians at the 2019 IPL auction after being unsold in the first round. He was earlier part of the Kings XI Punjab squad.
