Afridi stole the show as he picked a hat-trick off his first three deliveries. He ended with figures of three for 19 from his designated two overs.
Pakhtoons made 121 for four batting first, with Fakhar Zaman scoring an unbeaten 45 off 22 and Liam Dawson making a 23-ball 44.
The Arabians were going strong in their chase at 46 for two after four overs. But Afridi proved to be the game-changer as he removed South African Rilee Rossouw, West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo and Sehwag off consecutive deliveries.
Maratha Arabians were reduced to 46 for five in no time and ended at 96 for seven in their 10 overs. England's Alex Hales was the only batsman who impressed with an unbeaten 57 off 26 balls.
