Virender Sehwag is the real deal and he proved it once again by sending a two line CV to Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators for BCCI as his application for the job of head coach of Team India.

According to a report in News18, COA is stunned by the move and feels it is odd and lacks seriousness on Sehwag's part.

"Yes it is odd is what I will say, but beyond that, I have nothing to say. I am not travelling with the team and you should get in touch with CEO Rahul Johri for further update," the site quotes BCCI official as saying.

In this outstanding CV, Sehwag mentioned that he was a mentor of the Kings XI Punjab and was familiar with the current talent on Indian cricket.

"Sehwag being Sehwag has sent his application in two lines. There was no CV attached to it. We had to ask him to send his CV too along with his application. After all, it will be the first time he is set to appear for the interview," The Indian Express quoted a BCCI source as saying.

Apart from Sehwag, SunRisers Hyderabad coach Tom Moody, Englishman Richard Pybus, Afghanistan coach Lalchand Rajput, and former Indian pacer Doda Ganesh have applied for the post. Current coach Anil Kumble is automatically eligible for the race.
