Sending a message? ODI and T-20 discard Ravindra Jadeja hits six sixes in an over

Ravindra Jadeja is a destructive player, and when on full flow is very hard to control. Like many international teams and IPL franchises have experienced the stylish player's wrath before, it was the turn of hapless bowlers from Amreli on Friday. Ravindra Jadeja discarded from the Indian limited over squads sent a message to the selectors while smashing a 69 balls 154 for Jamnagar in the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) inter-district T20 tournament. But what added insult to the Amreli bowler's wound was that the southpaw hit six sixes in a over in the 15th over of the match. 

According to an ESPN Crincinfo report, Jadeja was in full flow as he opened the innings for Jamnagar. He played till the 19th over, but launched real onslaught in the 15th over against offspinner Nilam Vamla. Jadeja did a Yuvraj, clearing all the balls out of the park in Rajkot. Jadeja hit 15 fours and 10 sixes during his swashbuckling ton. Jamnagar scored 239/6 courtesy Jadeja's mammoth ton and ended up winning the match by 121 runs. 

Jadeja has been selected for the Test series against South Africa. However, if India plays one spinner in pace friendly situation, R Ashwin is likely to get the nod ahead of the flamboyant all-rounder from Saurashtra.
