Rohit Sharma poses with 'special gift' for wife Ritika on Valentine's Day

Rohit Sharma has always found love and support from wife Ritika Sajdeh. An on Valentine's Day, he came up with a special way to celebrate the day of love with a special gift for wife Ritika.

Rohit, who has been facing a lot of flak for his poor run of scores on the South African tour, found his form at just the right time.

Sharma scored a hundred smashing 115 in the 5th ODI at St George’s Park on Tuesday. His century set up India's victory against South Africa by 73 runs.

The win also meant that India secured the six-match series with a 4-1 lead. Rohit Sharma, who won Man of the match for his performance, dedicated the award to Ritika, wishing her a happy Valentine’s day.

He posted a picture of himself with the trophy on Instagram and wrote, “Happy Valentine’s Day Rits @ritssajdeh”

This is not the first time that the Mumbai batsman has made such a sweet gesture towards his wife.

Last year in December, Rohit had dedicated his third double century against Sri Lanka to Ritika on their second wedding anniversary.

"I'm happy my wife is here with me on this special day. I know she would have liked this gift from me. She has been my strength. She has always been there for me. You go through so much stress in this sport, and having them around is always special," Rohit said at the post-match press conference. "This is our second anniversary, but more than that, we won the game," he said.
