The Indian Premier League (IPL) has brought cricketers of different nations together. It has also introduced various cricketers to each others' cultures, traditions and errrm.. abuses.

Cricketers are often subjected to abuse by rival fans in their local languages but earlier they couldn't understand what was being said. But times have surely changed (though, can't say for good or for bad).

New Zealand cricketer Jimmy Neesham was recently abused by an irate Indian fan in Hindi on Twitter. It seemed that the fan was trying to have some fun at Neesham's expense. However, the New Zealand star was quick to reply, "Do you guys seriously think we play 2 months of IPL and don’t learn any of the language".

Neesham was interacting with fans on twitter. He also got compliments from India and revealed the thing he loved most about India.

The New Zeland star, who has scored a century against India on his test debut, also predicted that Ollie Pope will score a hundred in his debut game.

Neesham took to Twitter to express his thoughts and said, “Pope hundred on debut. You heard it here first #ENGvsIND.”

However, his prediction didn't come true in the first innings as Pope fell after a very impressive 28.
