This staggering record achieved by Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing Indian Premier League will blow your mind!

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Sunday became the second team, after Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), to qualify for the Play-Offs of the 2018 Indian Premier League (IPL).
Their win against SRH, followed by Mumbai Indians' loss to Rajasthan Royals, ensured a smooth passage for them to the knock-out stage of the tournament.
Sunday's results also meant that CSK have managed to maintain a phenomenal record. The Men In Yellow are the only side to make it to the Play-Offs every time they have participated in the cash-rich T20 extravaganza.
This is the ninth time CSK are competing in the IPL. They were banned from the tournament for the past two years on betting charges. That, however, has not had any impact on the team's performance on the field as they have continued from where they had left off.
Of the eight times they have featured in the IPL, CSK have reached the final a staggering six times. They, of course, won the title in 2010 and 2011.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni, an absolute icon in Chennai, has captained CSK in each of the nine seasons they have participated in.
With CSK looking good to finish in the top two in the league, and as a result getting two shots at the final, one would imagine their chances of lifting the trophy are looking bright at the moment. After all, who would bet against Dhoni in a final.
