Ambati Rayudu scored his first IPL and T20 century as Chennai Super Kings beat table-toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad eight wickets on Sunday. Rayudu, who has been in great form in IPL 2018, remained unbeaten on 100 with 14 boundaries. He and Shane Watson (57) gave CSK a great start as they chased down 180 in 19 overs. CSK now have 16 points from 12 matches while Hyderabad remain at the top of the IPL table with 18 points. Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson's 123-run second-wicket partnership helped the visitors post 179-4.
Chennai have all but confirmed their place in the IPL 2018 play-offs with this.
Meanwhile Ambati Rayudu has risen to fourth in the IPL 2018 Orange Cap table. Kane Williamson is at number two in the charts after match 46. Williamson and Rayudu joined Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul as batsmen who have scored more than 500 runs in IPL 2018.
There wasn't much movement in the Purple Cap table with Andrew Tye leading the chart with 20 wickets.
