Mumbai spinner Mayank Markande returned to the top of the leading wicket-taker in the Indian Premier League 2018. Markande, who dismissed Sarfaraz Khan in the match against Bangalore, got back the Purple cap from Kolkata's Sunil Narine. Markande has taken his tally to eight wickets in four matches. Bangalore's Chris Woakes also joined him on eight wickets but remained second on lesser economy and average.
