Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 ended on Sunday with the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) emerging victorious at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led side defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) comprehensively to clinch their third title in the cash-rich T20 tournament.
While SRH skipper Kane Williamson must've been mighty disappointed to miss out on the crown, there was one major accolade he took home on Sunday. The New Zealander ended the tournament as the leading run-scorer and won the Orange Cap.
The race for the coveted Orange Cap was intense right through the tournament. The likes of Williamson, Rishabh Pant, Ambati Rayudu and KL Rahul kept exchanging the seat at the top. Delhi Daredevils' keeper-batsman Pant ended the league stage as the top run-getter, but Williamson pipped him by qualifying for the playoffs and sustaining his form with the bat.
The final list of the ten highest run-scorers of IPL 2018 sees a healthy mix of players from all eight teams. The top three positions are occupied by Williamson, Pant and Kings Xi Punjab opener KL Rahul. Following is the final list of top ten highest run-scorers of IPL 11.
