India vs Sri Lanka: 'A big hug'- Sachin Tendulkar, others hail Team India’s series win

Team India won the match and clinched the series against Sri Lanka in an emphatic fashion on Monday and Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar was one of the first people to congratulate the Indian team on their success.

Sachin wrote, “What a fabulous way to end the test series! A big hug to the entire team for their outstanding performance. Good luck for the ODI series!”

A ruthless India completed a historic 3-0 whitewash in one of the most one-sided test series in recent times as they crushed Sri Lanka inside three days in the final test on Monday. It was India's first series clean sweep overseas. Other cricketers were also all praise for the team:
