Even after so many years, the political issues between India and Pakistan have not been able to hamper the excitement that comes along watching the two sides lock horns in cricket.

This year will witness the sixth edition of Women’s World T20, which is being played at the Caribbean.

The tournament is scheduled to be played from November 9 to 24 and the biggest game of the Asian audience is the fixture between India and Pakistan Women.

The arch-rivals and neighbouring countries will play each other on November 11, which is a Sunday at the Guyana National Stadium.

Here is the full schedule of Women’s World T20 2018:

 

 

Women’s World T20 2018 will feature a total of 10 teams – West Windies, who have qualified automatically because they are the hosts, England, Australia, India, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka.

The left over two spots in the main draw of Women’s WT20 2019 will be decided after the ICC Women’s World Twenty20 Qualifier in the Netherlands from July 3 to July 14. Bangladesh, who won the Asia Cup earlier this month, the Netherlands, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand, Uganda and the United Arab Emirates will all compete for those two spots.

The World T20 matches will be played at three venues in the Caribbean - Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium (Antigua), the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground (Saint Lucia) and the Guyana National Stadium (Guyana).

 

The 10 teams will be divided into two pools. Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan and one of the qualifiers will make up one group, with England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, the West Windies, and the other qualifier making up the second group.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals. The winner of each semi-final will clash in the final at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on November 24, which is a Saturday.
