IND vs SA: India's net practice session cancelled due to rain

The hosts will be taking on the Proteas in a three-match T20I and Test series.

Team India's net practice session was off due to rain in Dharamshala on Saturday ahead of the home side's clash against South Africa.

However, the team will do their practice session indoor. The hosts will be taking on the Proteas in a three-match T20I and Test series.

India's 15-men squad for 3 T20Is: Virat Kohli (Captain), Rohit Sharma (vice-captain), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Manish Pandey, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Krunal Pandya, Washington Sundar, Rahul Chahar, Khaleel Ahmed, Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini.

The first T20I between India and South Africa will take place on September 15 in Dharamsala. 

For the Test series, Shubman earned his debut Test call up as the replacement of opener KL Rahul, who was dropped after his relatively poor form with the bat during the two-match Test series against West Indies. 

Gill has performed exceptionally for the India 'A' side and has been rewarded with the much-awaited call-up. Earlier, the 20-year-old did express his disappointment for not getting selected for any of the three teams traveling for West Indies but his time has finally come now.
