Fans and cricket enthusiast exploded on social media when MS Dhoni’s decision of field change got Shakib-Al-Hasan out during India’s Asia Cup Super-Four match in Dubai on Friday.

Apart from being one of the greatest ODI captains of India, Dhoni has had a similar reputation where wicketkeeping has been concerned.

Just before Bangladesh’s wickets began to fall like nine pins, Dhoni had a moment of his own when he showed off his famous lightning-quick glove work too behind the stumps. Bangladesh’s Mushfiqur Rahim, however, was saved by the width of the spike on his shoes.

However, the wicketkeeper-batsman became Jadeja’s third wicket of the day when Rahim was caught by Chahal in the 18th over.

Head coach of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Stephen Fleming who is currently a part of Star Sports Dug Out, revealed in a discussion during India’s clash against Bangladesh how difficult it was to deal with Dhoni during net sessions in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The New Zealander said that Dhoni never does keeping drills with his IPL side, CSK, and his wonderful keeping skills have always come naturally. In fact, CSK’s fielding coach, Steve Rixon, also has never managed to convince Dhoni to during his wicketkeeping drills during their training sessions.

Earlier, India won the toss and opted to bowl. India made one change with Jadeja coming in for the injured Hardik Pandya.

For Bangladesh, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mustafizur Rahman returned in place of Mominul Haque and Abu Hider.
