Prior to the upcoming Asia Cup 2018 Super Four clash on Sunday, Afghanistan and Bangladesh have already played each other once in the Group stage, where Afghanistan had thrashed Bangladesh by 136 runs in their final Group B match on Thursday at Abu Dhabi.
Batting first, Afghanistan posted a total of 255, thanks to Rashid Khan’s unbeaten 57 towards the end that ensured his side reached a defendable total. Rashid picked up two wickets as well, while other wickets were distributed between Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Gulbadin Naib and Mohammad Nabi as Bangladesh were bowled out for 119 in 42.1 overs.
