Afghanistan's Shafiqullah Shafaq slams double century in domestic T20 match

Bowling maverick Rashid Khan is not the only shining star coming out of Afghanistan cricket. Wicketkeeper Shafiqullah Shafaq slammed 214 runs off mere 71 balls to make his mark in T20 history.

Playing in a local tournament, Paragon Nangarhar Champion Trophy, Shafaq hit 21 sixes and 16 fours to help his team Khateez Cricket Academy put up a massive score of 351 runs off 120 balls, reports Cricketnext.

Shafaq is one of the few players who play for the national team of Afghanistan. He has played 35 T20 matches and scored 392 runs in total. His strike rate is 143.07 and his highest score in T20Is is 51.
