Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today directed the Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs department to set up digital weighing machine in all PDS shops in the state by August 15.

He also asked to connect digital weighing machine with e-Pos machine, which would enable rightful grains to consumers.

Das also directed to give Centrally-subsidized sugar to Antyodaya families, while reviewing Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs departments, an official release said.

Under the Ujjwala Yozana, he said that by October 2018, all the 28,53,904 identified families should get LPG cylinder and oven. In all, 5,85,784 families have already got LPG.

He said proposal to increase gas dealers would be sent to the Centre so that the villagers would not face any difficulty in replacing gas cylinders.

Under the PTG Dakia Yozana, Das directed to set a particular date so that every month 35 kg rice packet could be delivered to 68,731 primitive tribal families, the chief minister said.
