Fuel prices today: Petrol, diesel prices remain unchanged; check rates here

Fuel prices on Tuesday remained unchanged across all the major metro cities in India, a day after oil marketing companies had hiked the price of diesel.

As of Monday, the price of one litre of petrol is Rs 80.43 while diesel will now cost Rs 81.64 per litre in the national capital.

This continues the current trend of diesel being sold at a higher price than petrol in Delhi. The fuel prices vary from state to state due to the Value-Added Tax (VAT).

The price of diesel was hiked by 12 paise a litre by oil marketing companies yesterday, putting more burden on the pockets of people.
