Groundnut oil recovered slightly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on mild demand from stockists and retailers.

Refined palmolein also regained following better retail offtake.

Castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial reclaimed owing fresh demand from shippers and soap industries.

Linseed oil continued to remain stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying from paint and allied industries.

In the edible segment, groundnut oil moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 845 from Wednesday's close at Rs 840 and refined palmolein gained Rs 4 per 10 kg to Rs 555 from Rs 551.

Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold edged up by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 4,750 as compared Rs 4,740 and castor oil commercial added Rs 2 per 10 kg to Rs 980 as against Rs 978 yesterday.

Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 750 per 10 kg.
