Wayback Wednesday: Deepika Padukone posts vintage print ad featuring her as child model

Before foraying into Bollywood, Deepika Padukone started as a model. Not only she slayed the ramp, but the actor was also a part of ads from childhood. She has often shared about it during media interactions and also on her social media pages. Deepika has always been a successful model which followed by being one of the top actors in Bollywood. While being at home, the actor decided to dig out some old albums.

A while back, the actor-producer took to her Instagram page and shared a snippet of a print ad featuring her as a child model. In the photo, Deepika is seen looking cute as ever in a black cold shoulder A-line frock with a matching hat. She paired it up with black ballet shoes. The Chhapaak actor is posing with two other child models in the photo. 

Deepika captioned the throwback photo stating, "Started young..."

On talking about her Instagram posts, Deepika had told Anupama Chopra, "I think first of all people need to stop thinking of actors as dumb people. You know, there's this thing that it's all about vanity, and this sort of life. I'd say the majority of us are pretty smart and pretty intelligent. And I think we know what is happening, we understand the seriousness of the situation. We are doing everything in our capacity to stay indoors, to be careful with social distancing, being responsible towards our nation in terms of what we can give back to the have-nots."
