Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is one lucky woman to have found her husband in Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, who is her all-time cheerleader and a great support. Anushka too does the same for him, but this time it was Virat’s turn to praise the actress’ recent release Zero.

He wrote, “Saw @Zero21Dec and loved the entertainment it brought. I enjoyed myself. Everyone played their parts well. Loved @AnushkaSharma performance because I felt it was a very challenging role and she was outstanding.”

The much-awaited movie which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif, released on December 21st and has received a mixed, mostly lukewarm response from the critics and audiences alike.

However Virat came out in support of his wife and the film, and in return faced the wrath of trolls, who went on to sympathize with him in the ‘husband duties’ aspect or termed him a liar and ‘prepared for the match’. Here’s what the tweets said:

Interestingly, Virat had nothing to say about Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif or any other actors from the film. Was he actually pressurized to put out that tweet?

Meanwhile Anurag Kashyap was all praises for Zero’s efforts and called it a ‘brave film’, and Karan Johar praised each actor, calling it Katrina Kaif’s best performance till date. It would be hard not to agree on that.

While Shah Rukh Khan plays a vertically challenged man, Katrina Kaif plays an alcoholic superstar and Anushka is physically challenged through celebral palapsy.
