Veere Di Wedding box office: Sonam Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor Khan film earns Rs 10.70 crore on Day 1

Keeping with an exciting 'Veere Di Wedding' trailer and chart-topping songs, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shikha Talsania and Swara Bhasker's film has opened to a winning start at the box office.

Veere Di Wedding has become the third highest opener of 2018 so far with 10.70 crore earnings on day one of its release. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the box office mathematics on Twitter and wrote,"Veere Di Wedding has a winning start on Day 1. Makes its way into the top 5 openers of 2018. Expected to build up a solid total over the weekend... Fri Rs. 10.70 cr. India biz."

'Veere Di Wedding' has also got a good start at international box office. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed that the film has opened to a solid start in New Zealand, UK and Australia.

Excited about the film's response, Sonam K Ahuja took to Instagram and captioned it, 'Veere Di Wedding' opens to 10.70 Crores on day 1! There are heroes in this film. They are female. It’s unfortunate that the word ‘hero’ evolved to be masculine given that it’s actually gender neutral.
