'Tumhari Sulu' song 'Hawa Hawai 2.0' | It's a tribute to Sridevi, says Vidya Balan

The reprised version of Sridevi’s hit song Hawa Hawai titled Hawa Hawai 2.0 will be launched today. While the plan was to get Sridevi and Vidya together to launch the song, unavailability of dates have called for a change in action.

Says a source, “Vidya and the team are still figuring if Sridevi can join them on a later date for an event, after Hawa Hawai 2.0 is launched.” We spoke to Vidya about doing a Sridevi in the film and she says, “No, no please don’t say that. Srideviji is a legend, I can’t even think of imitating her or taking her song and making it my own. This is the same Hawa Hawai and we have just used it as a tribute to her because it also suits the mood. It’s not like we are dancing in the song or doing Mombasaa, King Kong, Hong Kong. It’s at a point where the whole radio team is enjoying the track and grooving to it.”
