We have witnessed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan weaving magic everytime they appear on the screen together, even if that is for a short period of time.
The duo was last seen together on the silver screen in Mani Ratnam's Raavan in 2010. Their impactful performances in Guru and Sarkar Raj have also made a mark, and hence we can't wait to see them sharing the screen space once again.
Looks like the wait is over! Good news is that the two stars have geared up to recreate the magic in Anurag Kashyap’s next film Gulab Jamun.
The films is said to go on floors in June-July next year.
According to the reports in Pinkvilla, a source has told the publication, “Abhishek Bachchan is slated to begin shooting for his next film after Manmarziyaan in October. He also has Kabaddi season simultaneously. After wrapping up all those commitments by the first quarter of 2019, Abhishek and Aishwarya are expected to begin the prep for the movie. Aishwarya will also finish her annual commitment of gracing the Cannes Film Festival. After all of that is done, the movie is expected to go on-floors in June or July 2019.”
Adds another source, “The recce and the scheduling has already begun. The shoot plan will be announced once the official announcement of the film is made by the makers. Tentatively, it is a three month shoot starting off with Mumbai. The other details are being worked out.”
We are waiting with bated breath to see the lovely couple amaze us yet again with their performance and sizzling chemistry.
Apart from this, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Fanney Khan wherein she played a pop singer, Baby Singh. The actress shared screen space with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in the film.
Abhishek Bachchan, on the other hand, can be seen in his recent release Manmarziyan, which is doing pretty well at the box office. the film also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.
