While the wedding season is in full swing and pictures from Anit Tiwari, Mohit Marwah, TV actors Shoaib Ibrahim and Gautam Rode's marriage is breaking the Internet, Salman Khan continues to stay single.

The eternal bachelor of Bollywood has been dealing with queries about his marriage for a long time now. So, now the 52 year actor came up with yet another another amusing excuse to explain why he doesn't plan to tie the knot.  According to NDTV report, at an event Salman Khan said weddings are expensive and he can't afford one.

Yes, your read that right. Bhaijaan said, "My father got married in Rs. 180," he further added, "Because of his films like 'Hum Aapke Hain Koun' and 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' weddings have become such a big thing that people started spending lakhs and lakhs and crores and crores in getting somebody married. I can't afford it. That's the reason I'm single."

Interesting! Specially coming from the superstar who topped Forbes India 100 celebrity list for the second year in a row. Despite his Eid 2017 release Tubelight falling flat at the box-office. The actor earned Rs 232.83 crore, all thanks to his brand endorsements, TV shows and of course blockbuster 300 crore hit, Tiger Zinda Hai.

And then back in 2014, the superstar also organised for royal wedding for his sister Arpita Khan-Aayush Sharma. The two got hitched in Hyderabad's Falaknuma Palace and later a grand reception in Mumbai as well.

On work front, Salman Khan will return to telly with Dus  Ka Dum this year. He is currently shooting for Race 3 with Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. After that he also has 'Bharat' with director Ali Abbas Zafar and Dabangg 3 with Prabhudeva.
