Furthermore, some unidentified people even burnt the sets and costumes of the film while the unit was shooting in Kolhapur.
As if that wasn't enough, miscreants decided not to leave an artist in peace as well. The latest addition to the series of unforunate events about the film Padmavati, an artist Karan K's magnificent rangoli portyaing stills from film's trailer, was destroyed by a group of about 100 people. It took about 48 hours for the artist to complete his beautiful piece of art and the hooligans vansalised it within minutes, shouting 'Jai Shree Ram'.
The artist shared images of his work and the destruction that followed on Twitter writing, "#padmavati Rangoli controversy! A crowd of 100 people cried JAY SRI RAM n rubbed out my 48 hrs’ intense work! @deepikapadukone@FilmPadmavati.”
