We all have witnessed the phenomenal success of Baahubali 2 at the box office. The movie broke many records and is officially the first film to enter the Rs 1000 crore club worldwide.

Also, Baahubali 2 became the first southern film to break barriers and open to a pan-India response. But giving it tough competition is Aamir Khan's Dangal, which has managed to beat Baahubali 2 at the box office worldwide as of now. Dangal is heading towards Rs 2000 crore globally, while Baahubali 2 is inching towards the Rs 1700 crore mark.

These movies have changed the definition of a blockbuster. However, it looks like Rajinikanth's 2.0 has already beaten Prabhas' Baahubali 2. This sci-fi film starring superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson is a sequel to the blockbuster film Robot and will probably have one of the biggest release, ever seen in India.

As per latest updates, the film will release in 15 languages across 7000 screens in India. Now that's a record that's hard to reach! In fact, even Baahubali 2 wasn't released in as many languages as 2.0 will be. It's quite apparent that 2.0 has managed to beat Baahubali 2 at this level.

Meanwhile, Shankar has already wrapped up the movie's shoot and is now busy with the post-production work. The film is made on a huge budget of over Rs 400 crore. The film also has huge dose of VFX effects which is considered as the major highlight of the film.

After witnessing the collections of Baahubali: The Conclusion and Aamir Khan's Dangal, 2.0 producers are tying up with various distributors in several countries to screen it in multiple languages across the world.
