Star in the making: Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana begins prep under Karan Johar?

While Shweta Bachchan-Nanda recently revealed that her daughter, Navya Naveli, has no aspirations of becoming an actor, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana wants to be one. The interest is definitely there. She has been acting in her school plays. Shah Rukh himself has often spoken about her acting ambitions, and how she’s working on her skills by being involved in theatre.

Suhana is grooming herself for the job she wants. The star daughter has been making appearances alongside her superstar dad at events. An insider reveals, “She was at Karan Johar’s office recently and there were professional hair stylists and a make-up person with her. She was styled by a top stylist and shot by an ace photographer.”

Now, we are not saying that Karan is going to launch her this year or next, but when the time is right, he will, and consider it an honour. The fact is, she is prepping for the part. Suhana was at the fashion week recently, without her parents. Says an eyewitness, “She was confident in front of the cameras and behaved like a proper young lady, and not the gawky teenager that she was.”

Last year, a video of Suhana enacting a scene out of a play — Cinderella, where she plays the lead character, went viral. Shah Rukh in an interview said at the time, “I think she’s a great actor. She really likes it. If the passion is retained in the next two/three years, (she can) come and act.” He’s also said that nothing would make him happier than seeing her as an actress.

Incidentally, Suhana’s BFF, Chunky Pandey’s daughter, Ananya, is making her debut in Karan’s film.
