Sridevi death: Arjun Kapoor rushes to Mumbai to be with Janhvi, Kapoor family

In a sad turn of events, the Kapoor khandaan which was previously rushing to Dubai to attend Mohit Marwah's wedding, are now heading back to Mumbai after Sridevi’s sudden demise. The actress breathed her last on Saturday night following a cardiac arrest. She was 54. 

With Boney Kapoor and brother Sanjay Kapoor in Dubai to complete the tedious legal formalities after the autopsy, the Kapoor clan is with Janhvi at Anil Kapoor's residence in Mumbai as she is inconsolable. Karan Johar was the first one to rush to her as soo as news of Sridevi’s death broke. 

Now Arjun Kapoor, who was in Amritsar to shoot for Namastey England, has flown back to Mumbai to be with the family and sisters in difficult times. While it was considered that Sridevi and Arjun had strained relationship, he called it cordial on a TV show and said, “It's (The relationship with her is) very cordial. I respect anybody in my father's life the same way because he would expect me to do that. So I respect her and don't wish ill towards anyone. That's how I follow.”

Meanwhile, the film fraternity too has started pouring in to pay their condolences to Kapoor family. Karan Johar, Rekha, Rani Mukerji, Annu Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Neelima Azim, Vaibhavi Merchant were spotted entering Anil’s residence last night. 

Sridevi's mortal remains are expected to arrive in Mumbai by today afternoon and the funeral is expected to take place in Juhu sometime on Monday.
