Sonam Kapoor postponed her wedding for real-life veere Swara Bhasker

Sonam Kapoor's wedding with boyfriend Anand Ahuja was a star-studded affair that balanced the fine line between glamour and low-key. It is still a topic of discussion thanks to the theme of Sonam's upcoming film Veere Di Wedding. Among many things that stood out in the three-day affair of Sonam's wedding was the presence of her BFF and co-star Swara Bhasker. 

Images of beaming Sonam and Swara were 'friendship goal' photographs. These images also held a secret about the strong bond these two actresses share in the industry that enjoys gossip about cat-fights among two female co-stars. In an interview with a radio station, Swara revealed that Sonam postponed her wedding date so that she could attend the biggest day of her veere's life.

Sonam's parents, Sunita and Anil Kapoor had decided on March 12 as their daughter's wedding date after consulting their astrologer. Swara's brother Ishaan was also getting married on the same day. 

"Sonam entered (on the sets of Veere Di Wedding) looking very upset. I got an idea what it was about. Sonam even asked me if I could convince my parents in order to get Ishan's wedding date changed," reveals Swara.

Both the actresses tried to convince their parents if they could move the date. According to Swara, Sonam succeded.

These BFFs will now be seen on the big screen on June 1 when their movie, Veere Di Wedding comes to cinema.
