'Shubh aarambh': Vicky Kaushal elated to be back on the sets

Vicky Kaushal has several films in his kitty and a few of them he has been shooting for before the coronavirus lockdown. Now, after seven months of staying home and working indoors and virtually, Vicky is elated to be back on the sets. The actor shared his excitement by sharing a few photos clicked from his vanity on his Instagram page. The National Award-winning actor is all smiles and looks happier getting back to work.

In the photos, Vicky is sporting a handsome look wearing a black hoodie jacket and grey cargo pants. He is donning a clean hairdo and clean-shaven look while getting clicked. Vicky is also seen holding a script in his hand.

The Uri actor captioned his post stating, "Shubh aarambh!"

Meanwhile, Vicky is one of the few actors who had a movie released in 2020 on the big screen. The actor starred in Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh. The film also had Bhumi Pednekar in a special appearance. Bhoot produced by Karan Johar's home banner Dharma Productions is a part of the franchise.

Talking about his upcoming films, Vicky will next be seen in Sardar Udham Singh directed by Shoojit Sircar. The shooting for the film will be taking place across Europe, Russia, London, Ireland, Germany and India. 

In the film, Vicky plays the titular role of revolutionary freedom fighter Udham Singh, a revolutionary freedom fighter. He is best known for his assassination in London of Michael O'Dwyer on March 13, 1940. Udham avenged for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar in 1919.
