As Shahid Kapoor is busy watching IPL 2021, wife Mira Rajput has her own take on the teams

Ardent cricket fans are busy watching Indian Premier League (IPL 2021) series and among them is Shahid Kapoor. The actor loves cricket and he will be seen as a cricket player too in his upcoming film Jersey. However, that's not the case here. Shahid's wife Mira Rajput Kapoor has her own take on the IPL teams courtesy of the actor's fan club. Mira took to her Instagram story and shared a photo collage shared by a fan.

In the photo, Mira is seen donning outfits matching the jersey of the IPL teams namely Chennai Super Kings, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

While captioning her Instagram story, Mira wrote, "While my husband watches @iplt20... Me:"

Earlier during a press interaction, Shahid was asked about Jersey, to which he stated, "Jersey is a personal film. It's a human journey and it touched me deeply. It's a very emotional film."

About his love for cricket, the actor shared, "I used to think I am a good cricketer because I used to open at school. I forgot the fact that there has been a long gap where I have not played cricket. It's fun to play cricket just like that, but when you are playing (the role of) a cricketer you need to get the technique right and dedicate a lot of time to it. I am trying to give as much time I can."

Meanwhile, Jersey is the Hindi remake of the Telugu film of the same name and is directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur as the female lead.
