Shah Rukh Khan to be a part of Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’?

The Kasautii Zindagii Kay reboot, Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, is already gaining quite a bit of traction. The Ekta Kapoor production is taking the internet by storm, and people are spending quite some time rewatching the original and reliving the glory days of their favourite characters like Mr Bajaj and Komolika. However, another big star might be on board to make a special contribution to the show. And that could just be the King Khan himself, Shah Rukh Khan.

Apparently, a report by Pinkvilla states that Shah Rukh will be doing a voiceover for the remake, which apparently stars Erica Fernandes, Parth Samthaan and Hina Khan in the leading roles. Shah Rukh will play the narrator who introduces the leads Prerna and Anurag to the audience.

The report states, “Shah Rukh Khan will introduce the lead characters and will also be the narrator for the first three episodes of the serial. This is as a part of his deal with Star India. But it is sure to add to the excitement of the masses." There is no official confirmation from Shah Rukh or Ekta’s camp on the same.

However, bringing Shah Rukh on to a show bound to be as popular as the original Kasautii Zindagii Kay could be a major coup for Ekta and could exponentially increase the show’s audience. The show premieres on Star Plus on September 10, 2018. Shah Rukh, meanwhile, just wrapped filming for his latest film, Zero, opposite Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
