Shah Rukh Khan’s TV comeback show, Ted Talks — India, was to launch in October during Diwali, but now we hear, it has been pushed ahead. The Indian version of the international show, to be hosted by SRK, will go on air either in mid-November or even

December. According to sources, the channel has invested hugely in the show and a lot of post-production work needs to be done. Also, right now, they have two celebrity-studded shows coming up — Akshay Kumar’s The Great Indian Laughter Challenge, on which he is the super judge and the other is Farah Khan’s show Lip Sing Battle. Both the shows will be aired on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).

Says a source, “Shah Rukh’s show is also slated for weekends, and they want a very good slot for it — either in the morning or evening. They are looking at building it up like Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate, as Ted Talks is also very informative. They want to open it in a big way. Even SRK is not in a rush. His last few releases haven’t fared very well at the box office and he is very particular about his comeback show. So, they have decided to wait it out and take a call on it later.”

Interestingly, last month Shah Rukh and Akshay were all set to clash on the big screen with their films Jab Harry Met Sejal and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, respectively. Both movies were to release on August 11, but at the last minute, SRK shifted his date and released the film on August 4, instead. However, this time around it’s not Akshay who has caused the shift.
