Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Sanju is simply unstoppable! The movie is still smashing records at the box office and has emerged as the third highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.

Even after completing a month at the theatres, the Sanjay Dutt biopic has yet held its ground and giving stiff competition to new releases.

Films have come and gone, but Sanju is still going strong and has overtaken the box office collection of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai and is looking forward to crossing the collections of Rajkumar Hirani's PK, starring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma

The collections of Sanju stand at Rs 339.93 crore, just a little ahead of Tiger Zinda Hai, which earned Rs 339.16 crore in its theatrical run, while PK had earned Rs 340.8 crore.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted the figures on Twitter. "#Sanju crosses *lifetime biz* of #TigerZindaHai Now FOURTH HIGHEST GROSSING *Hindi* film Chasing #PK *lifetime biz* now [Week 5] Fri 45 lakhs, Sat 87 lakhs, Sun 1.15 cr. Total: 339.75 cr. India biz. ALL TIME BLOCKBUSTER," he said.

Sanju, however, is behind still Baahubali 2- The Conclusion, which raked in Rs 510.99 crore and Dangal (Rs 387.38 crore) and PK (Rs 340.8 crore).

While Sanju can't beat Baahubali and Dangal, it should be able to overtake PK in a matter of days now.

Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, Sanju is about the different phases of actor Sanjay Dutt’s life, including the illegal arms possession case and his drug addiction issues.

The film has received mixed reviewss with audiences loving the film as its figures show, while critics criticising the film saying it is just a favour for a friend and paints a benevolent picture of Sanjay to make him look like a naive man who fell in tough times.

Meanwhile, Sanju was presented at New Horizons Festival in Poland and became the first Bollywood film to get that honour.
