It's raining engagements, weddings and babies in Bollywood currently. Every other day we get the news that a couple has been engaged or enter marital bliss or set to embrace parenthood. It's a positive phase in the industry as the celebrities decide to go family way and balance it with their work perfectly. Some announcements are worth the wait while others just leave you surprised instantly. Now, another actor recently announced her engagement.
Yes, we are talking about Evelyn Sharma, who was recently seen in Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho. During an interaction with Bombay Times, the actor told that she was proposed by her beau Dr Tushaan Bhindi while they were in Australia. The couple got engaged on Saturday and this special moment took place at Harbour Bridge in Sydney. Talking about the proposal, Evelyn told BT, "It was a dream come true! Tushaan knows me so well… his proposal was perfect!"
On being quizzed about their love story, the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor replied, "We met on a blind date last year, which was set up by our good friend. Tushaan is a romantic guy and he’s even filmier than I am."
Speaking about the wedding date, Sharma said, "We will make a separate announcement for that once the date is set. For now, we would like to enjoy our time together."
Tushaan is Australia based dental surgeon and entrepreneur, so will Evelyn shift there post marriage? To which she said, "I would love to shift base to Australia. Sydney is one of my favourite cities in the world, but we will always have one base in India, too. It is our home after all."
