Shall we make up our mind to see a new Circuit in the next installment of Munna Bhai franchise?
Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanjay Dutt biopic has been breaking records left, right and centre at the box office. Keeping the content of the film aside, if there's one thing that has gathered immense applause from the audience and the critics alike, it's Ranbir's performance as Dutt in Sanju. It's unbelievable how Ranbir has stepped into the skin of Dutt and brought his charisma alive on screen. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial has already emerged as the highest grosser of the year so far.
While Ranbir and Sanjay did a special song 'Baba Bolta Hai' in Sanju, which rolls out along with the end credits, their camaraderie has been much appreciated as they share the screen space. The duo will be seen together in Yash Raj Films' upcoming project titled Shamshera.
But fans of the actors may get to see both Ranbir and Sanjay Dutt together in the next film of the popular Munna Bhai franchise too. Why do we say so? Well, rumour mills have been busy churning that after the super success of Ranbir's Sanju, the makers are considering to replace Arshad Warsi with Ranbir in Munna Bhai 3. We know that Hirani and Abhijat Joshi have been busy writing the script of Munna Bhai 3 and if recent report on a leading magazine is to be believed, tham Hirani may actually end up having Ranbir on board ac Circuit.
The magazine quoted a source as saying, "Seeing Ranbir's performance in Sanju everyone is impressed. The makers believe Ranbir and Sanjay will share great on-screen chemistry considering their rapport with each other."
While there hasn't been any official announcements yet, we're eagerly waiting for the third film in the Munna Bhai series, ever since the teaser of Munna Bhai Chale America was released. Though, Ranbir nailed his act as Dutt in Sanju, we're not sure if it'll be a wise decision to have him play Circuit in Munna Bhai 3, in place of Arshad, whose performance as Cuircuit is still etched in the memory of all the loyal fans of the much-loved franchise!
