Ranbir Kapoor confirms that the Sanjay Dutt biopic will show his 'drug addiction' episode too!

There has been speculation that director Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanjay Dutt biopic is not going to touch on the drugs and the dark portions of his life. We can now confirm that the film will show the actor’s addiction to substances.

We hear that lead star Ranbir Kapoor is heading to New York post the release of Jagaa Jasoos to shoot scenes in a rehab abroad, fighting severe drug addiction. It may be recalled that Sunil Dutt had sent his son to the US to clean up. The film is also about the father-son story, his relationship with his best friend (played by Vicky Kaushal), and the many women that the actor dated. During his film promotions recently Ranbir clarified. “It’s not a propaganda film.”
